Extract from ECB statement on the recreational game:
"Following the Government’s latest advice around social distancing, it is with sadness and reluctance that we recommend that all forms of recreational cricket are for now suspended. This extends to training, pre-season friendlies and any associated cricket activity."
In response, Four Elms CC have cancelled all club activity. We will keep a close eye on the situation and make an announcement when appropriate.
We will however look to start the bonus ball draw again shortly.

This coming Fridays AGM has been cancelled due to the risk of corona virus infection. We are hoping to re-schedule this in a 2-3 months time or at a time the government deem the risk of social contact has lessened.
The current officers will stay in place until such time as we can go proceed with the meeting. Further information will be forwarded in due course.

The 2019 season was not one that I suspect will live long in the memory for its on field achievements (Zak’s batting aside), but I shall leave the respective captains to pick the bones out of this. Sadly, we also lost almost the entirety of the last month of the season for the first time in my memory to appalling weather and a waterlogged outfield which curtailed things in early September. However, off the field the club did an excellent job of trying to “spread the word” and promote FECC and the facility we all enjoy so much.
